Flexible Barriers
Flexible noise control barriers are loaded vinyl barriers that combine mass, flexibility and limpness to block noise from transmitting from one area to another. They are available clear, non-reinforced, and reinforced in a variety of weights and styles to meet a multitude of applications.
Curtain Systems
Vulcan Sound Curtain Systems offer significant noise reduction with high STC and NRC acoustical ratings. In addition to very effective, high-performance sound curtain panels, a successful, functional acoustical enclosure often requires a wide array of features and options allowing for equipment access, visibility and ventilation.
Modular panels join together to form any configuration required.
Portable Screens
Vulcan Portable Acoustic Screens can be used individually or in groups to form partial noise enclosures, offering complete mobility and maximum accessibility. They consist of a rugged powder-coated tubular steel frame combined with our high-performance BBC (Barrier Backed Composite) or BSC (Barrier Septum Composite) noise barrier / sound absorption curtain panels and heavy duty casters.
A series of Portable Acoustic Screens join together to form a sound absorption and noise barrier treatment which can be easily moved and relocated.
Exterior Curtain Systems
Vulcan EXT Sound Curtain Systems offer the benefits of both a noise barrier and a sound absorber composite in one product for outdoor applications. Our exterior grade, barrierbacked product is typically used as modular sound curtain panels on long-term construction projects or permanent outdoor applications such as enclosing HVAC equipment, dust collectors or similar machinery where UV and abuse resistance as well as maximum durability, longevity and noise reduction is required.
Modular curtain panels are constructed with grommets across the top and bottom, and exterior grade Velcro seals along the vertical edges. Modular panels are sewn with an exterior grade thread. The product is also available in roll form with edges bound or unbound.
