Acoufelt was originally founded and based in Australia, as they quickly began to expand the US was welcomed with a headquarters. Ever since, Acoufelt has been on the rise with constantly engineering and designing new sound scaping materials that will not only control the sound in a space but will be pleasing to the eye. Since the beginning Acoufelt’s goal was to not directly sell to costumers but to team up with designers, like us, to deliver a great experience within the built environment.
One thing Acoufelt makes sure of is that they continually are pursuing sustainable practices in manufacturing in hopes of eliminating waste, while reusing materials along the way. Acoufelt makes sure that when creating products that all the chemicals and sourced materials are safe for their team to handle and for human use. Some products are made from regenerated PET fibers with a minimum of 60% recycled content. Products like FilaSorb™ felt, contain regenerated fibers in every square foot of the product, these fibers are made from post-consumer plastic beverage bottles that are diverted from landfills and oceans.
Acoufelt has a variety of products that one can choose from, acoustic products that you can install on walls, ceilings, ancillary, and flooring. Having up to 29 color selections to choose from Acoufelt is a great company to work with, so many options and lee way to create and design something that will be original and personalized by you that will look and feel great in your space.
